I can’t believe it’s June already, and I especially can’t believe I am still keeping up with Project 365! My birthday is in twenty days. Helen comes to visit from Wales in eighteen days, and in eight days I will be in San Diego with Adam! June is going to be a very busy month for me, so I hope I can still keep it up. If I do, I expect there will be plenty to take pictures of. As for week nine, the theme seems to be Nintendo Wii and summery stuff.
57/365 - Strawberry Torte
[May 20th] Unfortunately, it didn’t taste as good as it looked. :(
58/365 - I got my Wii Fit!
[May 21st] And I don’t even own a Wii! Well, actually, I will in the next couple days. My friend Allison was able to find one for me. She has one, though, so we waited in line at Wal-Mart until midnight when they put the Wii Fits on sale. I figured I might as well buy one while I was there since they’re in such high demand. I could always sell it on ebay, but I opted for getting a Wii instead.
59/365 - Afternoon at Target
[May 22nd] It was such a gorgeous day, but I wasted the last three hours of daylight walking around Target with no real plans to buy anything.
60/365 - Wii Would Like to Play
[May 23rd] My Wii finally arrived. Really it only took a day, but with that Wii Fit box sitting on the living room floor and taunting me, it really did feel a lot longer.
61/365 - Planes
[May 24th] Today was a gorgeous day. I’ve aways wondered what it’s like so high up in the air like that, especially on a day like today.
62/365 - Sunbather
[May 25th] Kahlua sleeping in the sun like she always does.
63/365 - Ladybug
[May 26th] Getting a clear shot was nearly impossible with the dog tugging on her leash and the ladybug scurrying around like crazy. :\

Yeh baby! 17 days!
In case you hadn’t noticed (but I’m sure you have) I am not very good at this 365 game. It started out promising and then just died. I think it’s because I don’t really have time to do much in the evenings these days, and I can only take photos of so much around the house before it gets boring. Taking my camera everywhere with me - especially to work - is not easy since it’s fairly big and most definitely needs a camera bag. Boooo. I fail.
It definitely helps having a small camera, and I know exactly what you mean about taking pictures of things around the house. Somehow I’ve managed to make it this far, though, and the majority of my pictures are of household objects. Most days I find myself walking around just looking for something to take a picture of.
When you come to visit, we’ll get you back on track.
