Phones shouldn't get recalled because they dropped your call or you couldn't get reception. Buy a landline phone if you're that dependent on making phone calls.

I know I grief Apple Fanboys like it's my job, but I've gotta agree with you. There's a line, and it's been crossed, and people need to just get over it.

Know where your coming from, but to pay for the technology with such a fundamental flaw is crazy.. Apple prizes itself on intuitiveness only to turn around and preach to people "how to hold a phone"... Madness.

So I have the 3Gs and thusly, don't have the problem that all of these dumbasses are whining about. What I do think is funny, though is that I always seem to have 5 bars, but every time....EVERY time I go to make a call it drops to like 2 bars. As soon as the call is over, back up to 5. Bastards.

I also think it's pretty funny that an iPhone can be fixed with duct tape. That shit seriously does fix everything! lol

I owned a Samsung BlackJack in 2007, the first phone I ever owned that integrated the antenna in the back of the phone. Sure enough, if I held it tightly enough, I'd see a degradation in signal. Same with the BlackBerry 8800 that replaced it, and the BlackBerry Bold that replaced the 8800.

The iPhone 4's issue is a bit more severe because unlike the aforementioned phones, the antenna's in full, clear view, around where most would hold it. That being said, it's only really blowing up in the media because it's Apple. They set certain expectations that work most up into a frenzy, but cool heads know that not even Apple can defy the laws of physics.
