Who What Where

My name is Lynn, and I'm a 28 year old student, designer, and future art teacher from Charleston, South Carolina. Pizza makes me happy. Also, red wine, knitting, cleaning, good green, sunshine, and headshotting angry kids on XBL. I started this website in March of 2008 as a place for me to write a lot about nothing. It's where I share my opinions and vent my frustrations, both of which I have more than enough of. It's also cheaper than therapy. Want more?

Southern Snow

SnOwMG!I've been meaning to blog about this for a few days now, but I have been super busy with school. On Friday, it snowed here in South Carolina! When I first heard the forecast, I didn't think it would actually snow. Whenever they forecast snow here in the winter, it usually doesn't. If it does, it's just a little flurry and it melts as soon as it hits the ground. If it actually sticks, it's at night and all the snow is gone when the sun comes up.

The biggest snowfall ever recorded in the Charleston area was eight inches back in 1989, and on Friday we came pretty close to breaking that record. Even today, almost four days later, there are still bits of snowman corpses in my neighbor's back yard. Whether you call it evidence for or against global warming, I do not care. All I know is that I wish we'd get snow like that around here more often!
