So, remember back in May when a fire broke out on the USS George Washington and I totally went ape shit, insisting the fire was a result of incompetence and also joking about blackmailing the CO into changing the way things are done on the ship? And then, after I calmed down a bit, remember how I apologized for acting inappropriately? Uh yeah, I am totally retracting that forced apology now because the CO and the XO just got sacked! When I said the GW was run by jackasses, I meant it.
I have lots to say, but I just don’t know where to start. Life has just been so crazy. I feel like I need to write about everything that has happened before I can talk about the present, but I know that will never happen. I need to just move on. Maybe if I get back into the routine of writing about current events in my life as they happen, I’ll feel more apt to blog about things from the last couple months. We’ll see. Here’s to another half-assed update.
I am still alive but extremely busy. Getting to spend a week with Adam in San Diego was wonderful, and now the ever so awesome Helen is visiting from Wales. Also, thirty-one minutes ago it was my birthday which I spent nearly all of hungover. That’s okay, though, because Saturday night was totally worth it. One of these days I’ll write a proper update. Toodles!
I can’t believe it’s June already, and I especially can’t believe I am still keeping up with Project 365! My birthday is in twenty days. Helen comes to visit from Wales in eighteen days, and in eight days I will be in San Diego with Adam! June is going to be a very busy month for me, so I hope I can still keep it up. If I do, I expect there will be plenty to take pictures of. As for week nine, the theme seems to be Nintendo Wii and summery stuff.
