According to my mom, I’ve already given her her Mothers Day present. Unfortunately, I can’t really remember what the hell it was. I do remember her saying something along the lines of “consider it my Mothers Day present,” but that’s it. Even though she thinks she already has her gift, I still was planning on sending her a card and some flowers. Cliche, but it’s what I do. Then the other day, I was doing some shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond when I saw a ‘make your own plate’ kit. PERFECT! In my head I was just like, “OMG OMG OMG,” because back in preschool and kindergarten we made plates every year for Mothers Day. We’d scribble some stuff in marker on a circle piece of paper and then days later (weeks, maybe? I don’t know), the image magically appeared on a plastic dinner plate.
