New Beastie Boys. This video is great, and I’m looking forward to the next one. The list of star cameos is ridiculous.
Why can’t we have street performers like this guy in Charleston?
favorite shitty pop song eeever + noisia = BRAIN ‘SPLODE!
i am very aroused right now.
And I just had an instantaneous orgasm when the bass hit.
After I change my panties, I’m going to go ride around in my car with the bass up because it’s a gorgeous day today and the speakers on my laptop just aren’t capable of reaching a level of volume high enough to do this song any justice. I need something that goes to eleven.
I’m just going to close my eyes and pretend it’s not raining today.
Ricky Nelson ~ Summertime 1962
Here is a slow burnin’, hip shakin’ version of Summertime by the always fantastic Ricky Nelson…
side note: Deep Purple sampled this song on “Black Night”.
Earlier this morning, Patador posted Coffee Cold by Oh No, which samples Galt MacDermot’s Coffee Cold featuring Fergus MacRoy.
Of the two originals, I much prefer MacDermot’s version without lyrics because it has a slightly slower tempo, a much sexier feel to it, and most importantly, percussion. However, I really like Oh No’s use of the lyrical version. The beat has a bit more prominence than the vocals, and it still holds that nice grittiness. It’s definitely worth listening to, as are the two originals.
So now, I’d like to share with you my favorite version. Handsome Boy Modeling School uses the non-lyrical version I prefer with the addition of all new, much better lyrics sung by Roisin Murphy and J-Live. Enjoy!

Do yourself a favor and listen to this amazing Little Boots remix my friend Nick made for tonight’s show.
Love love love it!
Before the show, I listened to the track on repeat all day long because I was nervous about walking too fast. It was stuck in my head forever after that, but I didn’t care. I’ve listened to it a few times since then, and I’m still not sick of it. Most likely it will end up being a nostalgia thing.
It doesn’t take a talent to be mean. Your words can crush things that are unseen, so please be careful with me. I’m sensitive and I’d like to stay that way.
The title says it all. This track perfectly fits my mood for the day.
This song is a few years old, but for certain reasons, it’s stuck in my head right now. Also, it really makes me want to dance like Molly Ringwald in The Breakfast Club.
